The first collection includes the first-ever translation into Arabic and Persian of such classics as Anne Frank’s Diary and Primo Levi’s Survival in Auschwitz. The Aladdin Project was officially launched on March 27, 2009, at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. She serves on the boards of MIT and Vital Voices, is a member of the USAID Advisory Committee on Voluntary Aid and co-founded the Malala Fund.
