Published in Science in 1961, Julius Axelrod found an N -methyltransferase enzyme capable of mediating biotransformation of tryptamine into DMT in a rabbit’s lung. This finding initiated a still ongoing scientific interest in endogenous DMT production in humans and other mammals.
In 1963, approval for use was given to diazepam (Valium), a simplified version of chlordiazepoxide, primarily to counteract anxiety symptoms. Sleep-related problems were treated with nitrazepam (Mogadon), which was introduced in 1965, temazepam (Restoril), which was introduced in 1969, and flurazepam (Dalmane), which was introduced in 1973.
Following James Valentine’s departure from the band, the name of the band was changed to PHASES. In early 2015, the band signed with Warner Bros. Records and on May 12, 2015, released their first new music under their new name.
The Schwarz surfaces have topological genus 3, the minimal genus of triply periodic minimal surfaces. They have been considered as models for periodic nanostructures in block copolymers, electrostatic equipotential surfaces in crystals., and hypothetical negatively curved graphite phases.
The beach scenes were filmed in Exuma islands, Bahamas. On June 25, 2014, it was reported that songwriters Lee Oskar, Keri Oskar, and Greg Errico had filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the makers of Timber, which features a harmonica melody that Oskar claims is identical to the melody used in his 1978 song San Francisco Bay.
