Giuseppe Forni. Giuseppe Forni is a paralympic athlete from Switzerland competing mainly in category T51 racing events. Giuseepe was a fixture at four Paralympics, competing in multiple events in each games and winning medals at all four of the games however he never won a gold medal.
Most of the town lies along or just to the west of Keysville Road (County Road 676). It is best known as the home of Alafia River State Park. Welcome was settled near the end of the 19th century. In 1905, the town was serviced by the Seaboard Railroad Line, but service was discontinued when the lumber supply was depleted in 1916.
Bombus vagans. The half-black bumblebee (Bombus vagans) is a small bumblebee with a wide distribution in North America, its range extending from Ontario and Nova Scotia southward to Georgia. Bombus vagans is a common species of bumblebee with a medium-length tongue.
The story of his life has been documented in a biography, Bahuayami Jeevan Ke Dhani Pt Gopal Prasad Vyas, written by Santosh Matta, published by Prabhat Books in 2015. He was honoured by the Government of India in 1965, with the award of Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian award for his contributions to the field of literature.
The church acquired adjacent land on Limestone Street and established a Sunday School hall and a manse there. An Art Deco-influenced refurbishment of the church was completed in 1938 under the direction of prolific Ipswich architect, George Brockwell Gill.
