In 1962, Kleist founded the Wehrkundetagung in Munich, the predecessor of the modern Munich Conference on Security Policy. He was the convenor of this conference until he retired in 1998. This forum was an important event during the Cold War years and is today a forum for diplomats, politicians and defence personnel from around the world to debate international security issues.
The series’ only guest commentator was the TV presenter, singer, Super GT driver and amateur drifter Hiromi Kozono (ヒロミ; real kanji name 小園 浩巳) who guest commentated at the 2005 Odaiba Allstar event. In October 2005, the D1GP ventured to Europe with an exhibition round at Silverstone, Northamptonshire, UK.
There are some buses that lead to the rest of Hong Kong such as the bus route 271 that goes from Fu Heng Estate in Tai Po Town to Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui and bus route 307 which goes from Central Tai Po Town towards the Central Ferry Piers via Central and Wan Chai of Victoria.
