The Society was founded to popularise and promote Polish Art in 1860 during non-existence of Polish state and operated until yet another German occupation of Poland in 1939. Its aim was also to organise educational activities in the arts world, to support artists and organise exhibitions.
Carlson was originally supposed to play the third brother; however, he was called up by the Edmonton Oilers just prior to shooting and was replaced by Dave Hanson. Carlson is a currently an acting referee and linesman for the Twin Cities AHA Hockey League.

A highlight is I Wanna Be Your J.Lo, featured in two versions and which blends a comedy-rap intro by Lovefoxxx, the lyrics from the chorus of Jennifer Lopez’s Jenny from the Block and the main riff of Sleater-Kinney’s I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone.
On the eve of the 2005–06 Israeli season, Barda, along with Haifa teammate Walid Badir, was signed by Hapoel Tel Aviv. Barda played 62 matches for Hapoel Tel Aviv, scoring on 17 occasions. He also scored 3 goals in Hapoel’s successful 2006-07 UEFA Cup campaign, where the Israeli team progressed past the group stages.
Mahjong (film) Mahjong () is a 1996 Taiwanese comedy film written and directed by Edward Yang. The film stars Chang Chen, Nick Erickson and Virginie Ledoyen. The film was entered into the 46th Berlin International Film Festival where it won an Honourable Mention.
Martha Kane (Carli Norris) also worked here until she left in November 2013. Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter) worked here until she is fired when the place is placed under new management, however they sell it to Grace Black (Tamara Wall) who immediately gives it to her boyfriend, Trevor Royle (Greg Wood) as a present.
