The first mention of the name Empire Pictures came in May 1983 at Cannes when Band sought funding for Parasite II, the proposed sequel to his successful Parasite from the previous year. The initial Empire Pictures productions included Swordkill (aka Ghost Warrior ) and The Dungeonmaster, which both received limited theatrical releases in 1984.
He is the son of New York businessman and lawyer Arthur Penn, who led the acquisition of the Capital Markets Assurance Corporation from Citicorp. Films that Penn has been involved in writing include Last Action Hero, Inspector Gadget, X2,, and Elektra.
The site of the former Arnott’s Biscuits factory in George Street has been redeveloped as the ‘Bakehouse Quarter’ and feature office space, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and shops. Aldi, Fitness First and Outback Steakhouse are major tenants here.

Gold has an actual Magic Quill, Isaac questions what he wants. Mr. Gold proposes he write him as well as other people happy endings which Isaac eventually agrees to. Unfortunately, Isaac used the chance to write the stories to alter the destiny of the characters involved because of his hatred for what he saw was good in the heroes.
