The courtyard of Kuthira Malika is the venue for Swathi Sangeethotsavam (also known as Kuthira Malika Festival), a yearly music festival commemorating the legacy of Swathi Thirunal. This music festival is conducted from 6 to 12 January every year.
In the same year she took part at the b-movie Intrigo a Cuba, with Carolina Marconi. After that, she participated at the show Quelli che il calcio and, in 2004, she presented the show Festival: Gruppo d’ascolto, on air on RaiSat Extra and Rai Utile.
In the summer of 2005 also hosted the Saturday primetime show Sei un mito. In 2007, hosted some events: Speciale buon compleanno Radio Italia, Speciale Natale in Vaticano, Dancing on Ice and the pilot La seconda volta.
Thomas Sankara: The Upright Man. Thomas Sankara: The Upright Man (French:Thomas Sankara, l’homme intègre) is a 2006 documentary film about Thomas Sankara, former president of Burkina Faso. Sankara was known as the African Che, and became famous in Africa due to his innovative ideas, his devastating humour, his spirit and his altruism.
CAST leadership team includes Dr Bill Curtis, notable for having led the CMM at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) in the early 1990s and more recently the Consortium for IT Software Quality (CISQ), which was established by industry to implement software quality and size standards.
The gender makeup of the town was 47.2% male and 52.8% female. As of the census of 2000, there were 240 people, 88 households, and 65 families residing in the town. The population density was 772.2/km² (1,980.4/mi²).
There were 3,795 households of which 23.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 33.8% were married couples living together, 14.8% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 47.3% were non-families. 40.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
