NGC 337. NGC 337 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Cetus. It was discovered on September 10, 1785 by William Herschel. It was described by Dreyer as pretty faint, large, extended, gradually a little brighter middle, 10th magnitude star 21 seconds of time to the east.
He put down pillage with a strong hand, and was sufficiently disinterested to refuse a gift of confiscated Norman lands. He was the submissive tool of Richelieu in the prosecutions of Cinq-Mars and François Auguste de Thou in 1642.
The series failed in America, where it had been pre-sold to ABC, but it was successful in Europe and Australia. In Germany, where the series was aired under the name Die Zwei ( The Two ), it became a hit through especially amusing dubbing which only barely used translations of the original dialogue.
This led to a relatively uneventful decade with consistently mid-table finishes. Although in January 1977 Pat Kruse, a centre-half for Torquay, created a world record by scoring an own goal after just six seconds in a league match against Cambridge United at Plainmoor.
Mars is still a family business owned by the Mars family. The company is famous for its secrecy. A 1993 Washington Post Magazine article was a rare raising of the veil, as the reporter was able to see the M s being applied to the M&M’s, something that no out-sider had ever before been invited to observe.
Even so, they managed to finish most seasons in the upper half of the league table, and in 1984, Die Fohlen were part of a four way race to the Meisterschale – the Bundesliga championship – finishing one point ahead of Bayern, and tied on points with Hamburger SV and champions VfB Stuttgart, but behind on goal difference.
