The Billie Holiday biography was reprinted by Da Capo Press in 2000 under the title Billie Holiday: Wishing On The Moon.
She has continued to act in various Off-Broadway and professional theater productions. In 1984, Gallagher starred in the title role of Tallulah, a musical stage biography of actress Tallulah Bankhead. She is currently a faculty member at HB Studio.
